Overview

Remote Support
With Remote Support for medium-voltage converters, Siemens is offering a new type of on-call service. A direct link to the customer's system can be established at the customer's request. All analysis, diagnostic and interventions options can therefore be utilized within a very short time.
Mobile Diagnostics
Within Mobile Diagnostics the measurements are performed using a mobile handheld on contractually agreed time intervals. Therefore vibration measurements and/or offline-/online-PD measurement will be performed.
Remote Diagnostics
The continuous monitoring – with a permanently installed measurement equipment – makes it possible to detect changes in the operating states early and to take according counter-measures.

SIDRIVE IQ based Services is our cloud-based approach for the next generation of Remote Services and Condition Monitoring Services. With SIDRIVE IQ, condition data from your drive train components is transferred to the cloud and analyzed by our Service experts.

This can increasingly be achieved by the use of modern, powerful communication media via remote access. It is necessary to consider the increasing demands on IT security, traceability and flexibility of the remote access.

Siemens is offering Remote Support as an add-on for on-call service contracts for SINAMICS medium-voltage and low-voltage converters.

When requested by the customer, a direct connection can be established to the customer's system, data called up and after being released by the customer, downloaded back into the system. All analytical, diagnostic and intervention options are available in the shortest time – just like a direct connection.

It is therefore crucial to be able to estimate the condition of the components correctly at all times.
